The HPDG-30 is a compact, aerospace-grade hybrid powerplant delivering best-in-class power density, specific fuel consumption, and time-between-overhaul. It integrates a fuel-injected two-stroke engine with the H3X HPDM-30 generator and onboard power electronics to produce a HVDC output. With just one hour of fuel, the system achieves an effective energy density more than three times that of lithium-ion batteries. The power conversion chain is:
Gasoline (Input) → IC Engine → HPDM-30 → HVDC (Output)
The HPDG-30 delivers ~1 kW/kg and best-in-class system specific fuel consumption of 650 g/kWh. With 1 hour of fuel, it achieves an energy density of 580 Wh/kg—over 3x that of lithium-ion batteries.
Output voltage is adjustable from 180–800 VDC via CAN, including MIL-STD-704 compliant 270 VDC for aerospace systems.
An integrated cooling loop with radiator fans and ducts eliminates the need for vehicle-side support. The system ensures consistent performance from -20°C to 55°C in harsh environments..
Multiple HPDG-30 units can be paralleled via HVDC outputs to scale power as needed—no redesign required.
